Disappointing
Seriously.
Today's turnout for fitness was upsetting, 9 people attended. 9 out of how many of you? Especially the year twos and ones. The year threes made the effort to come down for this training amidst their FYP work (Even on a wednesday when they had no school, they came down specially for this) and most of those who didnt come, had excuses, you know who you are, excuses.
Social reasons to do something else in the day?
Where were those who said they'd come and didnt turn up? Even if you are sick, you should be there for the physical training (from sabrina)
Those who came:
Bel
Agnes
Narene
Su
Wathone
Sophie
Chu
Efy
Faezah
Although the week appears to be so tiring, when you get to doing the fitness, it ends very quickly with your team mates to push you on, "one more set one more set". This fitness is for the benefit of the team, especially the younger ones, because you would be the one to step up into the seniors shoes, so year twos, no more reasons to skip and please try to make the effort to come.
Everyone, we all know how much we have to work towards IVP and yet none of us are making the effort. It tells alot that the self discipline already lacks in all of us, but we just have to push ourselves, starting from having a strong commitment towards working towards IVP that is just next month, note, early next month, be it varsity team or junior varsity team.
For the poor attendance from today, we'll have to face the consequences as a team the next training.
Start coming for training and friendlies, even if it means, disregarding your social life for a while, we have to make do with what we can now, knowing that the tournament we're training for is coming up real soon.
Please reflect on this, those not coming, should really let me know, with a reason. I've been saying this over and over and it gets frustrating, when only a handful decide to inform me and the rest just disappear.
